Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS) with funding support from the New Incentive, USA is implementing a Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Project in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria; to alleviate poverty by increasing access to education, and health care for ultra-poor families.

Over 349 students have so far benefited from the free educational counseling while 30 students benefited from the computer literacy program.

ECEWS has embarked on several campaigns on Malaria prevention otherwise known as Roll Back Malaria. Due to the low literacy level of HIV/AIDS awareness and Malaria counseling there is a need to enlighten and train the Guidance Counselors in Akwa Ibom State.
