ACE 5 PROJECT

The Accelerating Control of the HIV Epidemic in Nigeria (ACE-5 Project) through targeted interventions in Nigeria’s Akwa Ibom and Cross River States.

NTHRIP PROJECT

The Global fund National TB & HIV Reach and Impact Project (NTHRIP) grant focuses largely on reaching the general population in Ebonyi state with comprehensive Antiretroviral Treatment (ART).

Educational Projects

ECEWS-Red Cross Initiative

In May 2003, ECEWS and the Nigerian Red Cross held a successful HIV/AIDS essay competition. The competition held in over 200 secondary schools in Akwa Ibom State.

Educate-a-child (eac)/adopt-a-school initiative (AASI)

The project enhanced education in Nigerian primary schools, enrolling 400+ children and providing learning materials.

Continuing Education Learning Project

Our project trained 3,191 educators in psycho-social support and 1,011 facilitators in accelerated learning

Women Empowerment Project

In 2013-2014, Nka Uforo Iban Akwa Ibom State USA Inc. funded a project empowering 51 ultra-poor market women in Uyo and Abak, leading to improved business practices and expanded product offerings.
