25 Years of Impact: ECEWS AKS Team Visits Children’s Home

ECEWS Akwa Ibom State (AKS) team concluded its 25th Anniversary celebrations on 27th of June 2026 with a community outreach visit to the Mother Charles Walker Children’s Home in Uyo, reaffirming the organization’s longstanding commitment to compassion, service, and social responsibility.

The visit gave staff the opportunity to engage directly with the children, demonstrating ECEWS’ core values beyond its public health programming and reflecting its broader dedication to the well-being of vulnerable populations.

As part of the outreach, ECEWS donated food items, toiletries, and other care packages to support the daily needs of the home and its residents. The gesture underscored the organisation’s belief that meaningful impact extends beyond healthcare delivery to fostering hope, dignity, and stronger communities.

The visit served as a fitting conclusion to the 25th Anniversary celebrations, commemorating a quarter-century legacy of service while reaffirming ECEWS’ enduring commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those most in need.
