The grant focuses largely on reaching the general population in Ebonyi state with comprehensive Antiretroviral Treatment (ART) and for key populations (FSWs, MSM, PWID, PICC, AGYW and other vulnerable population) in Ebonyi, Edo , Enugu and Imo states.
The overarching goal of the grant is to contribute to the reduction of the incidence of new HIV infections as well as the mortality and morbidity due to HIV/AIDS in Nigeria both in general and key/vulnerable populations.
Objectives:
Achieving treatment saturation and sustained control of the HIV epidemic through the delivery of high impact HIV and TB prevention, care and treatment services, STIs treatment, Condom programming,
mental health assessment, legal aid services including strengthening
health systems and the capacities of community-based organizations
across the four implementing states.
