This study evaluates the transition of a large-scale HIV/AIDS program in Nigeria from FHI 360 to ECEWS, highlighting processes and early outcomes.
This study examines the transition of a large-scale HIV/AIDS treatment program from an international partner (FHI 360) to a local Nigerian organization (ECEWS) under PEPFAR. Using a before–after design, it analyzes program data to assess service continuity, testing uptake, and treatment outcomes, demonstrating that locally led implementation can sustain and improve HIV service delivery in Nigeria.
