ECEWS proudly celebrates International Women’s Day 2025, recognizing the extraordinary contributions of women within our organization and across all the communities we serve. We are deeply committed to empowering women and girls to reach their full potential and build a more equitable and just society.
At ECEWS, we are fortunate to have a strong team of women dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare in Nigeria. Our women leaders, staff, and volunteers are driven by a passion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
On this International Women’s Day, we honour the achievements of all the remarkable women at ECEWS. We are immensely grateful for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to our shared mission.
Women’s empowerment is at the heart of everything we do at ECEWS. We actively support women’s empowerment through our comprehensive programs and interventions. For instance, we’ve provided grants to 190 rural women traders across nine communities in Akwa Ibom State, supported 10 women in the Ibom Leadership and Entrepreneurial Development training program and empowered over 40% women in different states in Nigeria that we work. Beyond direct support, we deliver essential education and advocate for policies that champion gender equality.
