The ECEWS underprivileged scholarship project was inspired by the lack of access to quality education by poor but brilliant students with many of them sent away during examinations for want of school fees. Great attention was given to the actual recruitment of poor but brilliant students across serval notable school with the active engagement of School authorities & Parents. 

Thirty (30) Secondary School children in 9 Secondary Schools within Four (4) LGAs (Uyo, Etinan, Abak, Uruan) were given scholarships running for a period of two years depending on their classes.
