Dr. Uduak Okon is an Associate Professor of Physiology at University of Uyo. Uyo – Akwa Ibom State. A graduate of the University of Calabar, Nigeria (MBBCh 1998, M.Sc 2015, and PhD 2010). He joined the University of Uyo as 2002 and is currently an Associate Professor of Physiology at University of Uyo. Uyo – Akwa Ibom State. He specializes in Endocrinology/Reproduction and Gastroenterology.

 Dr. Okon has served as a member of the Akwa Ibom State Medical Surveillance Team for Christian Pilgrimage since 2013.  He is also a member of the Member College of Health Sciences Academic Board, University of Uyo, Uyo. He is passionate about care and support for people living with HIV and AIDS.

Dr. Okon is a member of the College of Medical Science Research and Ethical Committee, University of Uyo – Uyo. He has served as external examiner since 2013 and Board member with Excellence community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS) since 2013. He has taught and carried research in Physiology, menarche in girls, methanolic extract, and Diabetes among others. He is actively involved in the pursuit of medical education reform in Nigeria.
