As a way of supporting and improving the quality of basic education across Public Primary Schools in Nigeria, ECEWS in partnership with OANDO FOUNDATION under its Adopt –A-School Initiative (AASI) Program, adopted Model Primary School (MPS) Ekara Onne- Rivers State, and Community Primary School, Nedugo-Agbia, Yenagoa LGA & State School 2 Otuasega, Ogbia LGA,  Bayelsa State with the objectives  to empower communities through education, especially the primary schools, provision of scholarship, involving communities in  the participation of  community development and the mobilization of OUT OF SCHOOL CHILDREN (OOSC) from ages 7-14 years.

ECEWS mobilized over 400 OOSC who were admitted into the school system which was above the Project target across the two (2) States by providing learning materials such as Exercise books, pencil, erasers, and sharpeners, & school sandals.

Scholarships were provided to 10 students across the implementing States.  

With the feedback mechanism through (ECEWS), Oando Foundation constructed a borehole water system, provided Laptops, renovated classrooms and provided desk for the pupils at Model Primary School Ekara Onne, Rivers State.
